It is one of those things that I just can’t see not doing. As long as I have access to a computer I think I will always be blogging somewhere about something.

I have been on blogger since Feb. 2007. Before that I blogged over on homeschool blogger. I would estimate I have blogged for about 2 years (at this writing). Of course this is coming from a Mommy brain, the estimation could be slighty off. *grin*

Nothing is off limits. In the words of my 8 year old daughter, “It’s not safe around here since Mom started blogging”. She is often commanding me not to put that in my blog!
In all seriousness I try to share openly and from my heart. You will find all of that day to day Mom stuff and every once in awhile a real nugget might drop. Oh, yay! I get excited when a nugget -other than chicken- is found.

My google reader is smack dab full of subscriptions. I am always finding blogs that I adore. There is not enough space and time to get to them all. My favorites are the ones that inspire, make you laugh, make you cry, and no matter how “big” they are in blogosphere they take the time to drop you an email or comment and reach out to all of their readers. Ahh, be still me heart. My blog has several blog “watch” links on the sidebar. You will find a grouping of my favorite blogs and I update them often.

Blog honestly and from your heart. Whatever it is, allow it to pour out. These are often the best posts that will touch hearts. Don’t be shy and give yourself some creative writing prompts when you feel like there is nothing to say. You will be surprised what might actually come forth.

Yes, I do! I don’t always have the time to get back to each commentator every time. I do try to either comment on my own blog, head over to their’s and leave a message, or email.

Yes. I send my link to most everyone I knew. It sorta passed from there. I often have people in my life approach me and “confess” to reading my blog. It keeps me on my toes when I write. I have to be sure I don’t unload quite as much as I may be tempted.

Nah, not regularly. Although I belong to Sonlight forums. I posted once. I also belong to a forum at Perfect Weight America. Right now I am MIA. Shh, don’t tell them you saw me.

I mostly post in the mornings when my family is sleeping and all is quiet. I either post from our PC in our school/office room or I manage to find my husband’s laptop and zap a post from it.

I spend way more time reading blogs then I do writing. I would estimate that I read blogs for atleast 5 hours a week. I probably only write for an hour a week.

I am a member of Technorati, but really, it confuses me. I have yet to really search through their service. I mostly stumble on blogs from other blog sidebars and commentators.

For years I participated in MSN groups and was a member of a Homeschooling-Christian, Mom group. A lot of the girls there had blogs on homeschool blogger and that is where I got my start.

I don’t remember the name of the blog or woman writing it. It was on homeschool blogger and very encouraging while also being informative. At that time I was researching homeschool and in need of all the resources I could find.

The goodness and blessing of the Lord. O wow! I am inspired by all that happens around me. Just watching my children as they play and talk. Sitting on my porch and listening to the birds, walks around the neighborhood, praising and worshipping, spending time in the Word. These are just a few of the things that inspire me.

Blogging has really opened me up on a whole new level. I have found that I am no longer bothered by what others may think. I am me and have found delight in being me. Reading other blogs challenge me to let the wall down and be real. I am often encouraged by other blogs and I am so thankful to have the “iron that sharpens iron” in my life. Blogging has brought that into my life. There is a joy found in the outlet and relationships of blogging.
