When I started my blog, I had never even seen one. I HAD heard about them on TV, so one day I did a Google search and found BlogSpot. The rest as they say is history!

I love the creative outlet it gives me and I enjoy all the nice folks I’ve met.. some in real life!

Skittles’ Place came into being August 24, 2006. That seems SO long ago!

My posts deal with just about anything and everything. You just never know what’s going to turn up next.

My daughter-in-law has her own successful blog. Both of my sons have had a go at it. My mom looked at my blog once and said it didn’t interest her. (Laugh.)

I used to be overly consumed with blogging. We’re talking hours and hours!!! I’m not so bad lately.

I have my own weekly meme! Even though it’s played at my blog the official rules are listed at Heads Or Tails.)

I also have a couple serious blogs that deal with Panic Attacks & Agoraphobia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - Adult Survivors Of Child Abuse.

Blogging has taught me to be more accepting about myself. There have been things I’ve posted about that I never would have thought others would understand, much less sympathize with. I’ve learned it’s okay to be who I am.
