Blogging is an outlet for me. I enjoy the creativity of story telling and the chronicle of our family life I’m creating along the way. I also enjoy the challenge of expressing my thoughts and opinions at times. I try to find the humor in everyday things, which is great for keeping what little sanity I have left. And the friends I’ve made are a great bonus!

I’ve been blogging for almost two years.

Big Mama, Fully Operational Battle Station, Bye Bye Pie, fun.crazy.life, Rocks in My Dryer, and many, many others.

Have fun, be polite, use spell check, and be yourself!

Totally. That’s the best part!

Yep. A lot of them do. It’s a little weird, actually. It can be a real conversation stopper when we’re together “in real life”. But I appreciate their interest.

My computer is in our family room, and it’s on all the time, so I blog whenever I can fit it in.

I’d tell you, but then I’d have to kill you.

My friend Jordana has been blogging for years at Curmudgeonry. When I began blogging, I found my first few blog reads off her blogroll.

My kids. My faith.

Yes! my beauty product review blog — Chic Critique as well as my mommy products review blog — Reviewsings of a Housewife.

Blogging has gone from being a fun way to record my family’s history to a hobby to an employment venture. I’m making some extra spending money with ads, and I would very much like to pursue other avenues of opportunity to make blogging a lucrative venture!
