I use my blog to list prayer requests, particpate in meme’s, have monthly giveaways, post inspirational messages and track my weight loss surgery results. I also enjoy networking and socializing with fellow bloggers.

I have been blogging since March 2007.

Normally I post prayer requests, inspirational messages, and track my weight loss surgery. I also participate in Works For Me Wednesday, Thursday Thirteen and Pay It Forward meme’s. I like to host my own giveaways and I like to inform my readers about different giveaways being offered in the blogsphere.

Yes, I have made some really good blog buddies through their comments and email them regularly.

My family loves to visit my blog and I have a few friends that are not bloggers but they subscribe to my feed via email so they can check out my site. Since my Mom lives in SC we don’t get to see each other and with my blog she gets to see my weight loss updates.

In 2004 a personal illness ended my 15 year career with a major Tele-Communications company and I have been recovering at home for the past 4 years so I blog from home and I just accepted the challenge at Blog365 to blog everyday this year!

I recently was tagged to see if I was a blog junkie and I must admit that I am 70% addicted to blogging - with that said I would say I spend 2-3 hours per day writing and reading blogs.

I use Technorati a lot of the time and Wordpress (my blog host) has a cool feature called Blog Surfer that lets me see the most recent post of Wordpress blogs I subscribe to. The Tag Surfer lets me view Wordpress blogs that post using the same tags I use.

My youngest daughter started a MySpace blog, and my oldest daughter started a Face Book blog and I wanted to know what the big deal about blogging was so I looked into and got hooked!

5 Minutes For Mom of course!!!

Jesus and His never ending, never failing, never judging love and mercy.

Blogging has exposed me to so many different people from various backgrounds and belief systems. Some blogs I visit have made me laugh, some made me cry, others have inspired me and lifted my spirits and there have been some that have made me go hmmm….
