Mom of 3 Girls

I blog for a lot of different reasons. Partly as a way to express my feelings and thoughts, partly as a way to keep my family and friends up to date on our life, partly as a way to meet and get to know other moms or people through the blogging community, but mostly because I enjoy it. I really like connecting with people through my blog and sharing and comparing experiences.

I started my blog in May of 2007.

Anything and everything that relates to my life, my job, my husband and my kids! :)

I would just say to write about whatever interests you and most of all, to have fun with it.

Yes, that’s a lot of the fun of being in the blogging ‘community’! :)

Yes, some of them do. One of my close friends has started her own blog as well.

I blog both at home in the evenings after my kids are in bed, and at work - on my lunch hour and breaks. When I’m home, I’m usually sitting either in our living room or sitting on my bed - wherever I’m comfy at the time!

I probably spend 2-3 hours a day online between my lunch hour at work and in the evenings. That includes time spent reading blogs, writing posts and checking e-mail.

The first blog that I ever read was Suburban Bliss because I knew Melissa from a mom’s board that we were both on. But the blog that I started reading which got me interested in beginning mine, was Pediascribe. I love Karen’s sense of humor and stories about her family and life!

I have learned a lot about myself since I started blogging. I love being involved in the writing projects and contests out there - they offer a challenge that really makes me think about what I’m writing and the quality of my posts. I have discovered a freedom in expressing myself that I never knew before. I consider blogging a great form of ‘free therapy’, LOL!
