Interview with “The Prattling Pastor’s Wife”

“The Prattling Pastor’s Wife”

I started for my mom. She lives far away and wanted to be able to keep up with the daily stuff. Now I just cannot help myself - I love to blog!

Almost 4 years

Life, books, recipes, more life and just whatever is on my brain that day.

I do enjoy that. I find that many of the ladies do not want to leave a comment but will sometimes e-mail me and I like that, too.

Yes, I think all of them do especially my mom.

I hang out at the Women at Home Forum. That is the main one. I visit Crochetville.org and PrairieHomemakers, too. I am currently involved with an online Summer Reading Forum. You can find all the links at my blog.

I blog at home because that is where I am most days. I will often blog as I eat breakfast or just after breakfast. Sometimes I blog as I am getting dinner ready and have some wait time. Just whenever I can fit it in mostly.

I usually spend about 30 minutes a day blogging but more time reading. I try to keep up with lots of ladies so I spend about an hour a day catching up on them. Some I read daily some weekly - kinda depends on how often they post.

I am not even sure it was so long ago. I just thought it was cool and found a free way to hook up and get started. I have moved around from Xanga to Blogger to Homeschoolblogger. They all have merit and they have been free - which is good when you are on a budget like us. ;)

I am not sure here either but I know that several of the Women at Home ladies and I began blogging and reading each other about the same time. That is how we keep up with our little circle of friends and it works for us.

Lots of things but mostly what I am studying, cooking, crafting, planting or reading at the time.

I do try to keep up a Homestead Blog called The Good Life. You can find it at http://www.homesteadblogger.com/GoodNeighbors. It is where I put my more granola side… LOL
