I started Lyrics of My Life because I missed writing. I also wanted an outlet for venting some of my feelings, and I always express myself better on paper (or on a computer screen!!).

I kept a blog to keep my friends and family informed while my husband was in Iraq for over a year. Then, I took a break for about a year. I found I really missed that outlet, though, and after much thought, I started http://”lyricsofmylife.blogspot.com”>Lyrics of My Life.

Like I’ve said, if I live it, I write about it in http://”lyricsofmylife.blogspot.com”>Lyrics of My Life. Some of my writing is really deep and hard to write. Some of it is humorous. Some of it is just my thoughts thrown out there for the world to see.

Yes! My whole family reads my blog, and I think they’ve learned more about me by reading my writing.
