“My Writing Canvas”

My blogging began after the death of our 16 year old son just two weeks before Christmas, 2004. It was my outlet, sharing my grief, remembering my son, Matthew, , and sharing with family and friends as we walked through the valley of the shadow of death. I enjoy writing, so it continued on with sharing different aspects of our life and an outlet of doing something I enjoy doing.

I was also then given a freelance job through ClubMom (an ABC affliliate) and blogged for them for 18 months, until the ended their blog forum.

Life experiences - from raising and homeschooling ten children, the ups and downs of life, recipes, many Christian book reviews, (I am working with several publishers, reviewing books they send me and many times have give-aways of the books I review). I also participate with other blog reviews. Each Tuesday I participate with “In Other Words” sharing my thoughts on a Christian quote or Bible verse with other women.

Yes, I have used Technorati to find blogs, sometimes a blog of interest will pop up when I sign on to WordPress.com where I blog through, and linking off of other people’s list of favorite blogs.
