Song of the Sagebrush

Blogging is a creative outlet for me, as well as a way to share with and learn from others. I enjoy posting my original poetry, and I love gleaning from the experiences of other moms.

I have been blogging for nearly a year.

I began my blog with mostly poetry, but have added quite a bit about daily life in our corner of the desert.

I love Encouragement Along The Way. Bobbie is a great encourager, and I enjoy her posts.

I also enjoy Proverbs 22:6 Academy, and Rocks In My Dryer.

My only advice for blogging newbies is really to enjoy! It’s great fun!

I love comments!

My parents read, and a relative or two have stumbled across it. I have a few homeschooling friends who read from time to time.

Not particularly.

Most of my blogging occurs in the early part of the day in the office area of my bedroom.

Perhaps 5 hours per week…about an hour each weekday morning. Other than that, I’m generally busy with my busy job as mom, and may pop in and out of cyberspace a bit here and there.

I find most blogs that I read by following friends links or carnival links from other blogs. I occasionally use the “random blog” feature at Homeschool Blogger.

I believe I first learned about blogging a couple of years ago through a forum I used to frequent.

Jesus, first and foremost!
God’s creation, my family, and just life in general, as well!
