My Quotidian Mysteries

I blog to create more and consume less, to organize myself in my mind and heart so I can be more organized in the world around me, and to connect with others.

I started blogging in April 2007.

I tend to blog about daily life, but I do try to reflect on what God wants to show me in the hum-drum and ordinary moments. I’m also a big fan of contests, and so I’ll blog my entries there too, and I love connecting to other blogs that inspire me to live in Christ more faithfully.

Of course, 5 Minutes for Mom. I love Rocks in my Dryer, and It Coulda Been Worse. I’m a regular at Fruit in Season too. I’ve got a regular blogroll that I faithfully go through each day (or, when I can!) and I love to comment on blogs I read.

Keep going! Even when you have nothing to say and your brain seems empty, just keep writing. You’ll break through, and all of the sudden, you won’t know how to pare down all that you want to say.

I usually prefer email correspondence. If you leave a comment, I try to reply via email and I’ll occasionally hunt down a blog to leave a corresponding comment.

My mother-in-law reads faithfully, I think, and so do my parents. I’ve got some friends who have started reading too.

On my little laptop, during my daughter’s morning nap.

Far too much. I’m embarrassed to say.

Usually, no. I tend to prefer following links to new blogs from other bloggers that I like.

I think I’ve started thirteen blogs thus far, but this is the one that actually captured me and has become a thing of good in my life.

Faithfulness in small things inspires me. Consistent, patient, honest living.

I have a blog that I share with a dear friend - and it sort of serves as a way to stay connected.
