I blog to vent, I blog to practice writing. I blog because sometimes I need a break from writing my book. The book can be sad, but telling funny stories about my girls makes me happy.

I’ve only been blogging about six months so I still feel like a newbie.

I write about the ridiculous situations I find myself in as a mom of two unpredictably bouncy pre-schoolers. My blog is also kind of my DIY bookclub. My two year old doesn’t care about books without pictures, so I toss my book and movie opinions out into the blogosphere.

I love Catherine Newman’s honest and loving voice. Daddy Daze is good too. <
I love love love it when people respond to my blog. When they don’t, I feel a little like Christopher Walken in the Saturday Night Live skit where he had a hotline with a silent phone. “Why aren’t you calling?” he would ask in his spooky voice.
