To find myself! Blogging is a wonderful way to discover all the hidden realities in my brain, especially in a world where saying some things out loud could get you in trouble!

Just started about two months ago, and I’m finding so many wonderful connections and new friends in the mama blogga-sphere.

My design work, my children, and more recently I’ve begun a blog documenting my journey through a very dark and painful time of my life, and my final emergence into the light of God’s grace, peace, and forgiveness. And the overall theme that is present is how God’s gift to us has been our two beautiful daughters, adopted from China, and the blessing that they are to us in the midst of “kid chaos.”

For self-discovery and spiritual growth, I love this one:

And for learning about other moms and making wonderful new friends, this is my favorite :o)

Just do it . . . . and keep doing it everyday! The discoveries are amazing!

Absolutely! Love to get to know new friends.

I think a few of them do, but I’m really just beginning so I’m not sure most of them know yet!

I belong to several forums for designers of children’s clothing, and I visit sometimes, but too busy designing those kid’s clothes!

Usually the only quiet time I have is early in the morning before the girls get up, and late in the evening when they are all tucked in again. Sometimes I have a few minutes during the day, but usually then I’m working on my designs and my patterns. I have a home office on our front porch where my computer is and I have all my special “stuff” so it is a great place to be me.

Perhaps an hour or two a day, a few times a week. Some days it is just a few minutes in the AM and a few minutes in the evening to get caught up.

Not yet . . . . still learning.

Through one of my online friends. She directed me to a blog by another clothing designer, and I realized the potential for meeting new friends and self-discovery through blogging.

My children, my love for Jesus, learning about life through the eyes of the Lord, and a strong desire to make meaningful connections with other women . . . and to learn more about myself.
