It’s like a form of therapy for me! I’ve always tried so hard to become a journal-writer, so my kids would have a tangible part of me when I’m gone. But, I’ve never been good at keeping up with journals. So, when I discovered blogging, it was like a whole new world had opened up for me! Now, I journal online!

I’ve been blogging for a year now. I started my first blog at Homeschool Blogger. I’m still there, but have a new name and a new blog now.

I blog about whatever happens to be on my mind and/or heart on any given day. Some days, that might be talking about what happened during our school day. On other days, I share about curriculum reviews that I’ve finished. I enjoy talking about adoption~ especially OUR adoption~ so I share about that alot.
I’ve especially been enjoying blogging about some new things that I’ve discovered…….on Tuesdays, I like to participate in “Tackle It Tuesday” (right here on 5 Minutes for Mom); Wednesdays I’ve been posting my “Wordless Wednesday” pictures; and I’ve recently discovered “Booking Through Thursday” (which is great fun for a book-lover like me!)

I would tell newbie bloggers to relax, have fun, and~ most importantly~ be yourself!

Oh, definitely! I LOVE making new friends! And, if you come to visit my blog, and like what you see, I’d very much appreciate if you would leave me a comment, so that I might stop by your blog!

Several of my friends and family members read my blog. People that we don’t see on a day-to-day basis enjoy checking out my blog for updated pictures of our kids, and for learning about what’s happening in our lives.

I, along with one of my best friends, manage a forum/message board on msn, called The Gathering Room. It’s a place for Christian, homeschooling moms. It’s a fairly small group (in number), but such a blessing to me!
I do check out a few other forums, from time to time, but nothing regular.

I blog in my dining room/school room~ that’s where my computer is. I do most of my blogging in the early morning or late evening hours, when everyone else in the family is sleeping!

I read an article about blogging in The Old Schoolhouse Magazine. I’ll admit, at first I thought it was one of those things that I would never do! But, here I am!

My children~ each and every day they inspire me to be the best that I can be.
