Life With 4 Kids and a Dog

It’s cheaper than therapy!!

I started blogging in November 2004.

It varies; one day I might write a movie review, while another I might talk about future plans. I pass along interesting websites and news articles, or talk about what I’m reading. Sometimes I write about what’s going on with my family… there are lots of “what happened today” posts! And then there are things that make me go “hmmmm…”

How much time do you have??? I’ll narrow it down to 3 or 4. Dee, at Finding Direction, can always be counted on to have something inspiring for me. I look daily for new thoughts from Jim; he’s a friend from back “home” in Omaha and has a way of finding God in the everyday. Carrie is another homeschooling mom who loves books as much as I do; I love to read her reviews. And Zoot is almost always good for a laugh.

Open a gmail account to use just for your blog. Need an invite?? Just ask me; I have 99 left!

Consider having 2 blogs; one your extended family knows about and one that’s your little secret. No sense in hurting someone’s feelings unintentionally. (Not that it’s ever happened to me. I’m just sayin’….)

YES YES YES! I have met some wonderful people through my comments. I can’t meet you if you don’t leave me a comment. :)

My mom tells me that she reads it every day. I am aware that my brother and sister read it, but don’t comment. (Please go back 2 questions prior…
And some of my friends back in Omaha read it.

I try to drop in at Mothers of Gracedaily; also the Grace Centered message board. When I can remember, I will stop by the forums at the Sonlight website.

My computer is in our office/schoolroom. I might write a post before the kids get up in the morning or during a break in our schoolday… or sometime in the evening. Really, just whenever the mood strikes.

I’m pleading the 5th Amendment on that one!

No, I rely mostly on following comments from first-time visitors or comments on other blogs I read. Or most recently, the week-long Blog Party hosted here at 5 Minutes for Mom.
