I started blogging as a release. Just a journal of sorts to vent all my frustrations. I’ve always enjoyed writing, so this was a natural “next step” kind of thing for me to do. And sometimes, at the end of a really interesting day, I’d just think, “Man, that was crazy! I really want to tell someone all about it!”

I started my blog in October of 2005.

I blog mainly about my family. A lot of times it’s funny, but sometimes I have serious things weighing on my heart. I blog about whatever I’m feeling or thinking, and I try very hard to be absolutely honest and genuine.

I love reading the blogs of my church family. Over the course of a year, just about everyone in my church has started blogging. It’s great to be able to peek inside their lives and get to see what’s going on inside their head where they don’t have that opportunity at church. I believe it’s made us all closer.

There are times I do, but not usually. I am truly amazed at the relationships I have formed with other bloggers, though. It’s nice to know there are others that face the same problems.
