O Mama Mia!

Since my Hub is in the Navy, we rarely get to live near family. I began blogging to keep all of our family members updated on the daily madness that is being Sophia’s Mommy. Since then, its become more of my way of journaling Sophia’s (and my) life.

I’m rather a newcomer to the blogosphere, since I just began in August of 2005.

My usual daily babbling mostly include My Mommy Journey, be it potty-learning, watching Sophia grow up, or her zest for life a full throttle. I occasionally throw in links to news articles about Mommy-ing, poetry, recipes, and book “reviews”.

The blogs I read the most can vary widely; from family members, to foodies. I love Elizabeth Soutters’ DaMomma blog at http://www.damomma.com, and Susie always has great scripture quotes, book reviews, & news info at http://www.susiepie.com .

I don’t really have an advice to give, since I’m a newbie, myself, I feel.

I love chatting with my commenters!! I love to make new bloggy friends & I feel its my little way of letting them know that I appreciate their comments.

Supposedly, “all” my family read my blog, but few comment, so who knows. Maybe I should quiz them. LOL!

I don’t really visit any forums, much less “regularly”.

A fellow navy wife/ friend of mine, began blogging to keep her far away family “in the know”. It was a completely foreign idea to me, but sounded great, so I hopped on the bandwagon & haven’t looked back.

Ellie’s blog was the first one that I ever read (the above mentioned friend) http://ellieonline.blogspot.com

My inspiration springs first & foremost from my daughter and her beautiful spirit of innocence. I love being her Mommy & feel so blessed to be home with her full-time.

Since I began at blogspot, my earlier entries are still there, but I’m in the process of getting them rolled to where I am now. I was at http://babblinblonde.blogspot.com.
