Because I never schedule my fifteen minutes of writing time; because I never write in the little leather journal I someday want to give to my children; because I am under the delusion that I have something important to say and that it hasn?t been said before; because I?m a work-at-home mother with four children, a husband who works very long hours at two jobs, and if I never get to talk to adults at least this is a way I can pretend; because I?m funny ? I really should have a sitcom, but because I wasn?t born to a filthy rich TV mogul, this is the best I can do. You can read more of my profound reasons here http://www.simplynutmeg.com/?page_id=189.

I’ve been blogging for almost two years. My blog was a part of an online magazine called simply40 until November when it closed its cyber doors. I’ve been trying to navigate wordpress without an editor since then. I suffer!

Absolutely anything that tickles my fancy. Or gets my goat. I shoot for short posts with a punch. Sometimes I go long.

I spend a great deal of time on professional educational blogs so I have to be very selective about fun blogs. I’m never disappointed with Oh The Joys, Wink, or Greeblemonkey.

Don’t tell anybody about it. You’ll be much more fun at parties. See question # 7.

Are you kidding? I live for it! Everybody loves an audience.

Too many. I’m so boring at parties now. Everybody’s already read all my stories and jokes!

Usually I’m blogging on the floor of our den - writing with one hand, changing a diaper with the other, coloring with my 4 year old with the other, folding laundry with the other, making a bunny costume for the 2st grade play with the other, editing an article with the other, painting my toe nails with the other, and slamming a shot of vodka with the other! Yup! I’m an octopus.

I write every day. Sometimes it’s just a shopping list. Usually it’s a blog. The length of time it takes varies according to my angst.

I used to write several columns for parenting websites before I took my present editing job. One of them asked me if I would blog for them. I’m embarrassed to admit I had to google the word ‘blog’ because I didn’t know what it meant! This was only about two years ago. I’m slow folks.

Dooce. Of course.

Sometimes a shadow on the wall, sometimes bodily fluids. My muses have multiple personality disorder.
