I have a passion to write, always have. For awhile I tried to pursue a writing career, however due to many other priorities in my life it did not work out, at least not at this time. I feel I need to write to survive though and I want it to honor and glorify God. After much prayer I felt the Lord leading me in this direction. I’m able to write regularly, share it with others easily and honor the Lord.

I’ve been blogging for almost a year now. I started in March 2006.

My blog has a few different topics, but they all relate in the end to what the Lord is teaching me in my life. The usuals are my family life (immediate and church family), whatever I’m currently studying (right now it is the Holy Spirit and Jewish roots) and of course Happy Ups. Happy Ups are a way to focus on the blessing God has given me in my life, instead of on my problems. Other things of interest are thrown in there at times too including books I’m reading, news articles I’ve come across and whatever else may catch my fancy.

Don’t feel like you have to post every day. I would make sure you try to post on a regular basis consistently, however don’t let yourself get overwhelmed. Also if you want to share your blog with others join communities such as this one so your blog gets exposure.

Yes, I love to chat with others and hear their comments. I like to understand where others are coming from. I think it is also interesting to other readers. I like to read the string of comments on other blogs as well.

Yes, I have a few relatives (my mom and aunt in Australia) as well as some friends from my old work and a couple of people from my church that read my blog. In fact right now I have 6 individuals who have subscribed to me blog and 5 of them I know (or an related to) offline!

Not really. Just keeping up with my favorite blogs and posting on mine take up a bit of time. I try to limit my computer time to after the kids are in bed at night.

I usually blog after the kids are in bed at night from my laptop while sitting in my favorite rocking chair. I’m usually watching T.V. with my hubby. I can’t just sit and watch T.V. without doing something else so I’m usually blogging or reading a book at the same time.

I try to visit my favorite blogs daily. I try to blog at least 2 – 4 times a week, but when things get really busy at home or work it will fall off at times.

I really don’t use any search engines. I usually find other blogs either through groups I already belong to or through references on blogs I already read regularly. I figure if I enjoy their blogs, I’ll probably enjoy the blogs they enjoy to read.

A church friend of mine started a blog and emailed me about it. I read his for a couple of months and decided it was something I wanted to do as well.

Zadok Priest. This is the blog my friend wrote. He actually started it with a different service at a different site. Traver does not blog as regularly as he used to because he is pretty busy right now. He is a church family member and I have subscribed to his blog so I know when he does post.

Hmm, good question. I’d say most of my inspiration comes from my studies and quiet time with God. And of course my children! Kids always give you inspiration for writing.

I did start a website called Ang4him that is linked from my blog. I also have the Ang4him Reading Room. Both are mostly for me to share what I’m currently reading and my recommendations for others.
