Because I can. Really, Athena In A Minivanstarted because I enjoy writing my thoughts and ideas and it gives me an outlet in which to write them.

I began blogging in November of 2004. I was upset and sad after the results of the election and this gave me an outlet to write down my feelings about life and children.

I have three boys. The oldest are twins and are 7. They go by Butch and Sundance. This is what we called them before they were born and they fit the description. My youngest, who now goes by Tag-A-Long. (Has been called Baby and Toddler). I write about my kids, my life and pretty much anything that comes in my mind at the time. We decided to homeschool when the boys were entering Kindergarten. I wrote alot of my thoughts about that when we were in the decision making process.

Don’t try to create an audience. Just write about what you like and what you think.

My brother and sister both read my blog. I have friends I know in person and some only on the web but they are all friends. Ironically, my husband has never read it.

I blog whenever the Spirit moves and as Honey is a computer guru, I have a great computer in our family room.
