I blog because I like to write. I also enjoy finding deals on the internet. I’ve been online bargain hunting for years. Blogging lets me combine my two passions. When I see a deal on an item I have, I always put my two cents out there!

How does your site work?

We search the internet for what we think are good deals. We then post a link to the item along with any applicable discount codes or coupons on the blog. Our readers simply click through our link to purchase the item. We also have a separate page on our blog with links to our affiliated stores along with any coupons that we find for them. Our FAQ explains things a little better.

Shopping–but I have a separate page on my blog for more personal blogging about my kids and family. Just the mundane things that happen in our day to day reality.

I like reading some of the celebrity blogs and some of my friends’ blogs. Lately, I’ve been reading Rosie’s blog at Rosie.com. She makes me think.

What made you decide to start your blog?

I hadn’t seen a blog dedicated to shopping deals–or at least not deals geared towards moms and families. Since I am a mom and I’ve been searching out deals for years, it seemed like the perfect thing for me to do!

What makes your blog different than other shopping sites or blogs?

We are a mom-run site. We want to support other moms with at home businesses, plus we focus on deals that most families can use.

My kids. My family. My good friends. Music.

BargainHuntingMoms also has message forums where our members can share deals, advice or just hang out and chat about their favorite TV shows.
