An acquaintance of mine in the magazine publishing industry suggested that starting a blog would be a good way for me to write regularly. He also mentioned that it was a way to take power out of the hands of the “gatekeepers”. Since I have a lot of technical experience and training, I decided to combine my writing and my technology and I started blogging.

I started blogging sometime during the Fall of 2006.

I love blogging but I try to be careful not to post something just for the sake of posting. I would rather have fewer blogs with more significant, interesting content than lots of posts with little or no substance.

YES!!! I love comments about my subject matter and about my writing itself.

Maybe a few.

I blog in my home office whenever I get the chance. I am trying to get in the habit of writing posts as they come to mind and posting at least once a day.

Quotations, other writing, Scripture, my children, my experiences…the better question is really “What doesn’t inspire me?”

Not yet, but I am moving in that direction. Stay tuned…
