I blog because I have a burning desire to inspire and empower women to live their lives to the joyfullest. I love to write. It comes naturally to me. And I love to be real and transparent. Blogging is the perfect tool for me to use to share my message in a way that is personal.

I started my first blog about two years ago.

Oh! A wide range of topics, really. I blog about parenting, being a wife, a share stories about my life that are either hilarious or inspiring. I blog about spiritual issues, homemaking, and all things pertaining to being the woman that God has called me to be.

Have a purpose for your blog, and blog REGULARLY. Not too many people will become return visitors if they can’t really tell what you’re all about or if you go for weeks at a time without posting something new.

I LOVE receiving comments, and MOST OF THE TIME (if I can keep up), I will either comment a reply, or email a reply. And I will ALWAYS visit the website of one who comments on my blog.

Yes. My parents love to read my blog. And several long-distance, lifelong friends read my blog regularly to keep up with me!

I blog daily. I try to post every morning, first thing.

My goal is to spend 15 minutes writing each day. Sometimes, hardly any of it ends up on my blog, but most of the time, I write more than 15 minutes. And because I’m really open, it’s rare that I won’t share what I’ve written. I used to read blogs WAY TOO MUCH! I’m embarrassed to admit how long! I’m cutting down. Now it all depends on how much free time I have.

Biographies of people who never gave up or who overcame the odds, God, nature, my kids, and many, many books are inspiring to me.
