Interview with DariDonovan from “Charmed & Dangerous”

“Charmed & Dangerous”

Blogging is a way to unwind, clear my head of things. It has also become a way of networking as I have made virtually 100’s of new friends and contacts.

Since I have two blogs, I am able to share both my personal and professional side with the world. My political blog is a way to get a message of peace out to my readers.

I was blogging long before they called it “blogging”. Having been online since 1993, I was blogging back in the day when we referred to it as “online journaling”.

Daily life, household tips, cleaning tips, recipes, family, fun stuff, and opinions. Sometimes I even share some of my poetry and photography.

I blog a lot about my son and daughter-in-law who are both US Army enlistees and are both currently in Iraq.

I like a well designed blog. I also like blogs by soldiers who are currently serving in Iraq and Afghanastan.

Blogs with a personal touch and occassional sense of humor really draw me in.

Yes, blog about what you know. Don’t try to blog about things you aren’t sure of just to attract readers. Be yourself and the readers will find you. Word of mouth on the internet goes a long way.

I respond to every comment I have in both of my blogs. I believe interaction with my visitors is one of the main reasons they come back again and again.

I travel a lot as an activist so I blog on the road, in hotels, from home, anywhere I have access.

OMG, seriously…………..about 20 hours or more per week.

I use Technorati and mybloglog.

I started keeping an online journal back in 1993.

It was a political blog, lol.
