I began blogging as a creative outlet and quickly became addicted. It is a wonderful way to connect with other moms who share similar joys and struggles. You quickly realize just how normal you really are…what a comfort, especially on those crazy “can this really be happening” sort of days.

I began blogging in November 2005.

You have to blog about what you know lest you sound like an idiot. My blog reflects my life - marriage, kids, relationships, God, politics, homemaking, homeschooling…whatever happens to be running around in my brain on any given day begging to be let out!

Amy’s Humble Musings, but I doubt there’s anyone in Blogettyville who doesn’t read that one.

Our family website is used to keep family and friends up to date on what’s happening in our lives. My family is spread out around the country, so it’s a great way to keep them in the loop, especially with the kids growing so fast.
