In His Hands

I first started a blog to keep a journal of the every day and then when we signed up to adopt it was more of a way to connect to other adoptive families. I began to see a really dark, negative influence in that blogging community so I took a break and prayed about what I wanted my blog to reflect and if I wanted to blog at all. I decided to “come out” and speak about my faith in God and try to be a light.
Some days are harder than others.

Off and on, a couple of years.

I blog about my struggles to be that light but I also blog about the insanity of building a home and renting the house next door; our move from California to Texas; the struggles to raise a Godly son in an ungodly world; dealing with rheumatic diseases (I have fibromyalgia and my husband has rheumatoid arthritis); adopting from China after secondary infertility and my love of Beth Moore!

Too many to list! I have a variety that I like to read–from inspirational to funny to informative. I navigate toward Christian mothers that have a sense of humor.

My advice would be to not worry about how many comments you have or the number of hits on your site, just be true to yourself.

I do! One of the best parts of blogging, for me, has been meeting new friends. I know it’s hard to write that first comment on a site, so I try to let the commenter know that I appreciate them taking the time. Sometimes it’s a day or two later…

Yes but I only know they are reading because they’ll bring up something I’ve blogged about in a conversation. Now that I’m thinking of it, it’s really quite bizarre!

My computer is in the kitchen so I blog in spurts throughout the day.

Too much but when I look at what I have learned from my favorites or how my life has been influenced for the better, I feel good about my time spent.

Generally I just blog hop from the blogrolls of the blogs I read. Bet ya can’t say that 10 times fast without messing up!

I was in “the weeds” of secondary infertility and stumbled upon some blogs searching for answers.

Chez Miscarriage.

God’s grace & mercy. His Word. My family. Nature.

Just this one!
