I started At A Hen’s Pace to encourage other moms and to keep in touch with family and friends.

I love writing, and I’ve found it a way to practice my craft–and practice making time for it!

I share wisdom I have learned from experience, from other older, wiser women, and from what God is teaching me as I journey through motherhood.

I record our family’s experiences with a fabulous Christian children’s theater company, homeschooling, having a teenager with high-functioning autism, and the funny moments that occur between six siblings. Having a husband who serves as a priest at an Anglican church plant provides frequent blog fodder as well.

And I write book and movie reviews.

As little as possible! But you have to spend a certain amount of time just to know what’s happening in your corner of the blogosphere. And though I don’t have time for many blogging relationships, there are a few that I really try to keep up with.
