Interview with Jenn from “Knee-Deep in Munchkin Land”

“Knee-Deep in Munchkin Land”

I mostly blog about misceallenous stories from my life. It can include cute ancedotes about my daughter, the pains and joys of pregnancy, and the lessons I’m learning from God. This blog has been an incredible place to meet other, same-minded mothers, a place to journal thoughts and emotions, and a way for out-of-state family and friends to stay in touch with our lives.

I’ve been blogging for about a year but had to take down my original site. I’ve been on this site for about three months now.

I absolutely love reading Motherhood is Not for Wimps, Raising Five, Amy, Oh My, and Something Beautiful. These ladies have become very dear to me in the blog-world.

My only advice would be this, make sure you’re doing this for yourself and no one else. Be comfortable and secure in who you are because there will be times that others won’t agree with you and won’t be afraid to say it. Talk all feedback with a grain of salt.

Absolutely but using blogger makes that a little hard because their email addresses aren’t always included in the comments or someone anonymous will post something. But I do enjoy reading every comment I receive.

Yes, almost all of our family and friends visit my blog, at least occasionally. A lot of them appreciate having the site, they never have to wonder how we’re doing.

I do not visit many forums at all, I don’t find myself to be too political. Of course I have my opinions and usually aren’t afraid to share them, but never in that avenue. I’d be way out of my league.

I try to post every other day. It’s harder to get to the computer on the weekends but I enjoy blogging and its a great outlet for me! If something funny, inspiring, or shocking has happened, I can’t wait to get on the blog and share it!

I first heard about blogging through my husband’s cousin, Jess, from OMamaMia. From the minute I visited, I was hooked. I couldn’t wait to start one of my own!

I’m a very lucky, blessed woman in that I have a number of things to inspire me. The unconditional love pf my God, a supportive, hard-working husband, numerous family and friends who are willing to share honest opinions, stories, and insights with me. But most of all, being a mother is my biggest inspiration of all. From the moment Devyn was born, I felt a fulfillment I had never felt before. Watching her grow and change in front of my eyes has been the most unexpected, but biggest, blessing of my life.
