One Homeschool Mom

I blog for 2 reasons. One, I want the blog to serve as a chronicle or journal that I can look back and see what we did at a certain time and to be able to see our “labor” as we homeschool. Secondly, I find so many FREE resources for other families who may be struggling to homeschool their children. The internet is abundantly filled with free stuff! Paying it Forward!

I started this blog last year when we pulled our oldest out of middle schoo,l after 2 weeks, to homeschool him. Now we have all 4 children home!!

I normally blog about our homeschooling adventures and FREE resources relating to homeschooling. Also a pinch of diabetic related posts and other things that may peak my interest.

I like to read other homeschooling blogs with multiple children to see how their household functions with schedules, curriculum…that sort of thing. I also like blogs that are uplifting and fulfilling to myself to really encourage me through the day.

Read a lot of other blogs and see what your niche may be.

I do, but I am still trying to build up my traffic to the site.

I hope so!

Yes, I have been on some diabetic boards both for myself and for my 3 children who are also diabetic. I used to be a moderator on the old AOL forums way back when…lol!

I blog anywhere at any time. I have the blogger app on my phone so I could do it while sitting at the park or on a plane. But mostly in my comfy chair with my earbuds in while listening to music.

Do I really have to confess to this? More than I probably should.

no

people inspire me. I look for their passion. You put love into the people you love the most. When I cook dinner I cook it with love. Its nourishment, both food and passion. Either for your soul or your body.

I ended up combining my different blogs for different subjects into this one. I had a separate one for diabetes, homeschooling and foodies. But they are all a part of me and my family.

I have found that by blogging I even if I am blogging for me to read later that is good enough for me. I am not blogging to please anyone but for myself. If one person is able to put use to anything I say then I am blessed.
