My secret passion is teaching others the important truths we all must know. Recently, while completing some graduate courses in theology, I stumbled into blogging. I’ve been a part-time graphic designer, Bible teacher, and a stay-at-home Mom for a squillion years, and I thought I’d put all of that together in a “blogzine” for women.

For almost two years.

My columns are about Arts & Culture, Bible, Books, Christianity, Family, Humor, Music, Love, Marriage, Moms, Music, Relationships, and Spiritual Growth.

Chrysalis also hosts the Marriage Monday meme the first Monday of every month.

I’m still learning these things myself! Remember, you have a unique voice. Write like you talk, not like you’re writing a college term paper. Link generously to other bloggers. Use “you” three times as much as “I” in your writing. Post regularly, at least 2-3 times/week.

Also, try to spend as much time promoting your blog as you do writing it. You can do this by joining blogrolls, blogrings, and social networks, by leaving comments on your favorite blogs, joining memes and Carnivals, and by guest posting.

Yes, I love to respond to my visitors’ comments. And I don’t mind a little friendly debate. I’ve been really surprised by how open and honest people are. What an amazing community we are part of!
