The Frazzled Homemaker

I blog to express myself and to connect to others.

One of the main reasons for my Frazzled Homemaker blog is because I grew up with a mother who was more career oriented than homemaker. She taught me very little about running a household.

I learned everything on my own and developed a keen interest in collecting tips and tricks in how to run an efficient home.

I believe there are probably plenty of others who have had little training in being a homemaker and I hope my blog helps them.

Write what you know and love.

Keep at it even when you think no one is reading. It takes awhile to get readers and even when you do get them, it may be awhile longer before you start getting comments.

Answer every comment that comes in if possible.

Keep to a schedule. You don’t necessarily have to write every day but do try to be consistent in whatever schedule you set for yourself.

Yes I love that. I don’t feel like I get enough comments at this point but I do answer every one that comes in.

My best friend in Georgia reads it and a cousin of mine says she reads it. That’s all I know of.

I usually write in my office and usually at night because I am taking care of my toddler granddaughter during the day.

Several hours every day.

I actually have about 40. Mostly smaller niche websites and a few blogs on other topics I am passionate about. I also have a ecommerce site for my handcrafted personalized Christmas ornaments. You can find it at http://www.cathyscreations.com
