“The Saturday Evening Pot”

We blog as a husband/wife team as a way to share our passion for food with family and friends. As we have always loved eating, food has always been a main topic of conversation and we find ourselves constantly sharing our experiences with restaurants or trying new recipes with family and friends. Blogging seemed to make sense as a way to do this in a more concrete, permanent fashion, where people would have access to all of the great recipes we come across.

January 2011, as a “New Year” endeavor

As time permits between work and a busy family life with two young children!

Probably about 3-4 hours per week at this time, expected to increase as the children get a little older and more “self-sufficient”.

We have enjoyed interacting with other bloggers, from a variety of niches, and learning from the life experiences they choose to share in their blogs, as well as finding many wonderful ideas to try ourselves in many different areas of life. It has been a very rewarding experience.
