Interview with “House Honcho”
“House Honcho”

I love home management, and I find that blogging about it saves my sanity. Additionally, it keeps my husband from having to hear about new ways to organize his take-out menus or pair his socks in the washing machine. So, in short, it saves us both.

I wrote the first entry for my blog on March 12, 2010. And I wrote it as if the whole world were listening. Though, in fact, I am confident I was the only one who was reading.

I blog about home management every day of the week but Saturday. I like to talk about tips and tricks and holidays and hints. It’s really a lot of fun. My business card is a photo of a toilet. Very awkward at times.

I love networking. I will talk to anyone who talks to me. Leave a comment. Find out for yourself.

I am continually surprised and humbled by the number of people who read my blog. I love the opportunities the blog affords me to talk to people around the world. Much cheaper than plane tickets.

I blog every night in my home office. And most of the time, I dress up before I write. Strange, but true.

Life inspires me. 80-year-old home managers inspire me. I love to go into old homes and unearth objects like Pompeii (the partially buried Roman city near modern Naples). I thrive on estate sales and cookie exchanges. Really, I was born in the wrong era.
