Quick and Easy Cheap and Healthy

I first started blogging about healthy food because I was very passionate about it, but I found that people’s eyes started to glaze over whenever I talked on (… and on and on) about it. Writing a blog was an outlet for my passion without driving away all my friends and family!

I started blogging several years ago, before I had kids, then I stopped for a while, but got back into it as an outlet for my creativity besides changing diapers and wiping up spit-up!

I typically blog about recipes that are easy to make with healthy ingredients. My goal is that, as my blog name indicates, each recipe is at once quick, easy, cheap, and healthy. Not all of those always occur at the same time, but that’s my goal.

All kinds of healthy food blogs, probably the most popular being Kitchen Stewardship or Frugal Granola.

Don’t try to be it all, or have it all, all at once. Start by building an attractive blog with content you are passionate about and know about. Build it, and they will come! Slowly incorporate new elements of social media and interaction as your blog grows – it takes time!

Oh yes, I love to! (Is there a blogger who doesn’t?)

Yes, quite a few of them. Most of them aren’t die-hard fans, but they subscribe and read when there’s something of particular interest to them.

Ugh, way too much time. More than 5 minutes that’s for sure:)

No, I find way too many just by following links from one blog to another!

I also blog at When Food is Dangerous about food allergies, as my children both have life-threatening food allergies.

I have learned SO much through blogging! I truly believe I am a better cook, housekeeper, wife and mom because of what I learn from other moms through their blogs. Also, writing my own blog forces me to keep to a certain standard of frugality, healthfulness, and even creativity in my cooking.
