Mainly to release what’s inside of me. It’s both a stress reliever, and ranting place. It’s a way to be creative. It’s a place that’s just for me – everything else in my life is shared.

About 10 years. They used to be just online journals which paved the way for Blogs. I only have my archives up from 2000 on – unfortunately moves and computer crashes have caused a loss of all the rest, which is sad.

My day to day life. Anything at all that strikes me. It could be opinions on headlines, or troubles I’m having with the kids – which is why it’s so hard to categorize what I do.

Dooce, Amalah, and of course my husband are just a very small sampling. I think I read over 100 on a regular basis.

Please refrain from blinking neon. And I don’t know if this is the case for everyone, but I will rarely read someone who has a black background and white font. It honestly hurts my eyes and gives me a headache. I would remember your privacy from the get-go. If you get “popular” more freaks come out, and you’re not going to want to go back and edit everything you’ve written. As I’m having to do now.

Yes, although I usually don’t do it IN the comments. It’s actually easier, technically, to just reply to them via email after they’ve commented.

Yes, but they’re select – at least the ones I know about.

No. I find I do not like the format of forums. I constantly feel overwhelmed, and feel like I’m missing something pertinent. Lifes too short to feel that way, so I avoid them.

Work and home both. All day all night – whenever the mood strikes me. I have a terrible memory, so I try and do it when I think of it, if I can.

It’s just part of what I do, so there’s no way I can quantify.

No. I list myself in places such as that, but I usually find the people I read through other blogs I read which leads to a domino effect.

I was around before then – so there’s was this big controversy between Blog and Journals, and really what’s the difference, and one being better than the other, and Journalers (generalizing here) looked at bloggers sort of with a sniff. They’re not “real” was the consensus. I eventually switched to a blog format because it was a much easier format to get the information out quickly, without all this FTPing and such. I also used to code everything, manually, by hand. There are still “Journalers” out there vs “Bloggers” but in my head they’re the same thing. The differences lie in the content of the individual blogs/journals.

The first Journal (remember? I’m a dinasaur?) I think I read was probably . But OH MY there are so many. I’ve some people I’ve been reading for years. We corresponded before either of us had kids! Now there’s so many between us all!

I never know. I can’t say anything, be it person, place, or thing inspires me on a continued basis. It’s more like little snippets of same at random moments. I just learn to recognize and take it and run with it.

No. As I gather more inventory I’ll be eventually creating an online place to buy the jewelry I make, but that’s a dream for the future. I do contribute to collabs and the like, and I’m the technical end of my husband’s blog.
