I have decided that I am either a Mom Blogger stuck in a Fitness Blogger’s body, or a Fitness Blogger stuck inside a Mom Bloggers mind! For now I will stick to reading the mom blogs and writing the fitness blogs.
I am a fitness fanatic and want to share my experience with other moms in a no-nonsense, yet empathetic way. We, as moms, are awesome in so many ways, and for those moms who aren’t as fit and healthy as they want to be and know they can be, I want to help. That is why I blog.

I started blogging in 2009 when I was training for a bodybuilding competition. I found that most of my posts translated to me complaining about how hungry I was and how deprived of food I felt. No one wants to read that, so I shelved my blog until after the competition.

I blog about anything that has to do with fitness and nutrition and staying motivated to live a healthy lifestyle

I have several mom blogs that I love. Chic Moms, Kludgy Mom, Cool Beans Mama, Modern Mom, and NAFBM are at the top of my list these days. Of course, my own blog http://www.fitchicktricks.com

This is one of my favorite things to do. There are some exceptional people out there.

My family is so supportive of my blogging, and they are usually the first ones to read it. I also bounce a lot of ideas off of my family, and sometimes they even act as my editor.

We all hear that being a mom is the toughest job. I think we can all agree. One aspect that can be tough is making the transition from a corporate woman to a stay-at-home mom. I found this to be true, and at the beginning, questions of self worth would creep in. Most moms top priority is family and making sure everyone is taken care of, so blogging gave me something just for me. I didn’t realize how much I missed having my own personal goals until I started blogging.
