I blog to make connections! I want to meet others online who understand my unique challenges.

I just started my blog a couple months ago so I would consider myself a newbie.

I blog about my children. I like to pretend I homeschool so in my role as “pretend teacher”, I like to blog about the activities I invent for one or both of my kids. My goal is always to challenge my children and help them succeed so I share a lot about how I do that.

I adore comments and try to respond to many if not all!

I have some family members reading my blog, but I didn’t create this blog to share with family. My whole purpose is to connect with other parents of children with special needs. It’s great that my family is interested, but what gets me excited is finding others who understand my challenges.

It is my goal to write daily, although with two small children, I can get derailed at times.

Blogging keeps me focused on my children and the goals I have set for them. I am a therapist to my youngest and I need to concentrate daily on assisting her to progress. Blogging keeps me accountable and it’s fun to look back at what my little girl has accomplished.
