I blog to journal my family’s story. I blog to participate in this amazing community. I blog because pregnancy zapped my brain and if I didn’t write it down, I’d never remember.
I was on LiveJournal back in the dark ages, but only began publicly blogging in 2008.
I have a few blogs – my family one where I talk about… my family! A travel site where I talk about kid friendly travel spots and deals , and a food site where I post my favorite family friendly recipes.
Just keep at it. And be genuine.

Pretty much everyone I know reads my blog. It can be a little embarrassing.
Usually in the evenings from my kitchen table.
My children. My parents. My friends. The prospect of doing more and better. The prospect of doing good.

I have made amazing friends through this medium and been able to stay in closer contact with distant family and friends than I ever could have anticipated.
