Works for me...homemaking

In my “real life”, I had many friends asking me questions about their children’s speech and language development. I wanted to provide them with an easy reference point and answer some basic recurring questions.

I also enjoy having a way to record some of the milestones in my own children’s lives, “talk” through books I have read and issues I am thinking about, and interact with other mums.

I’m a newbie myself!

I LOVE it. It is so encouraging to me to get those comments that either say “I’m with you on that” or “I needed to hear that” or “I struggle with that too”. I love the community that comes with blogging.

Yes, that is how I got started, just targeting my offline friends. Then I discovered there was a whole community of wonderful female/ mum bloggers online to interact with too.

I am part of an Aussie forum called “Connect2mums”

At home, at naptime. I am blessed that both of my children are under 2, and still sleep at the same time.

Too much! I consider it my one vice though – I’m not really into TV much, so reading and writing blogs is my down-time.

Not so far. I generally find new blogs through the comments I read on other blogs.

An offline friend sent me a link to a blog. (I think it was one of the blogs I mentioned above). I read for about a year, before thinking “hey, I could do this too!”.

Jesus, life, my funny and gorgeous husband, my funny and gorgeous kids, my passion for childhood language development

no

It has forced me to think more deeply, to read more widely and to do more fun things with my kids (so I can blog about them!)
