We write because we are writers! And hopefully what we have to say will encourage others! We blog to lift each other up as we raise our children, write, and draw close to God.

Writer…Interrupted was started in July by Gina Conroy who has her own blog Portrait of a Writer…Interrupted.

Through her own journey in trying to balance motherhood and writing she read many mom blogs and interviewed writing moms. Soon she realized she wasn’t alone in her struggles.

After failing to find a webring or group that specifically addressed the needs of Christian writing moms, she decided to start her own. It has grown into a bigger endeavor than she had anticipated, but she is glad God is using this project to bless others.

We blog about issues relevant to our lives as Christian writing moms like raising kids, the craft of writing and growing in our faith. We also participate in Works for Me Wednesday as well as posting on subjects such as homeschooling, family fun, and raising kids with special needs.

All of our members’ blogs, of course.

Writer…Interrupted started out as a webring for Christian writer moms to connect and encourage each other. We’ve grown into a blog with many writers in different stages of their careers.

What’s great about Writer…Interrupted is that it’s for all moms who are trying to balance their lives with raising a family.

We post daily, so there’s always something new and fresh to look forward to. And with almost a dozen bloggers, it won’t take long for you to find your favorite!

The writers inspire and encourage each other with their wisdom, hope and talent. We’re a blog of writing moms, but we’re there to encourage others as well.
