I love it!

When my husband was deployed in Iraq. I had a newborn baby, was a rural part of the country with no family near by and needed to find a venue to channel all my passion, thoughts and journey as a new mother through. I started with a personal family blog and then it just expanded from there into what I do now.

Reviews for family friendly products, cloth diapers, eco-friendly products, green living.

Yes.

I blog at home during nap time, after my daughter has gone to bed, from my iPhone, you name it

Oh geeeeez. A LOT. I’d say 20-30 hours a week on average?

When I was an undergrad in a BCS class out of all places– my professor made a class blog and I didn’t really “get it” then, but the seed was planted in my mind when I decided to do something more personal with it.

Life. As cliche as it sounds, all of the family, music, art, joy and tragedies are the things that make me who I am and bring flavor and variety in my life. It is the everyday events that fuel my desire for self expression.

It has made a HUGE impact on my life in how I spend my days and in the way I get a lot of my information that help me make decisions for my life and family. I have also found support and made friends in a new and different way– people I have never met, but know more things about or relate to in different ways than some of my other friends.
