Both Kate and Alison love to write and laugh and whether or not anyone is reading their blog, they laugh. And laugh. And then feel stupid. But we just find the other one funny.

We began blogging in March when it seemed like the winter would never end in Northern Michigan and we needed to do something creative or go insane. Plus it’s such a great way to document our kids’ lives

We blog about kids, pets, crafts for moms and kids, travel, recipes (good food, bad pictures), design, and internet humor that’s appropriate for the whole family.

We, like every other blogger out there, love comments and read any and all comments made on our site. We also try to visit any other blogger who visits our site and reciprocate as well as replying to comments.

Kate’s parents and husband read our blog religiously. My dad reads our blog periodically since he says it regularly makes him choke up to read what I write about growing up. We have friends and their children who read us with regularity.

We blog at least 6 days a week from home.

I read Kates blog, http://www.theblankiechronicles.com , but other than that I think Dooce was the first blog I’ve ever read.
