I love chatting with my visitors through comments! It makes my day to get input from my readers.

My mom reads my blog and often shows it to people. Most of my friends read it as well, even if they don’t have kids. They all think it’s good prep for when their own breastfeeding days come.

I’m inspired by the high death rate among black babies in their first year of life. If only more women of color would breastfeed, we could drastically reduce this number. I’m also inspired by all of the moms who had a rough start to nursing but persevered and are now nursing toddlers!
