I blog for my son. I blog so that the details can be recalled years from now. His medical needs make him quite unique. I hope that someday my blog will be helpful to another mom in a similar situation.

I have always sent out detailed emails & pictures of my son to keep friends & family updated. I started my official blog to chronicle Austin’s life in May 2009.

I blog about my son’s life. He has quite a following of family & friends who follow his every move. I blog about doctors, therapies, treatments, nurses, milestones, joys, heartbreaks…you name it I write it!

I visit the forums at http://www.trachesotomy.com and http://www.parent-2-parent.com regularly. I find the support to be very helpful and insightful.

I blog from home, usually late at night when I have the most time and privacy.

Too much!! Right now I would say I spend quite a bit of time because I am just getting started and developing my own style. But I spend about 4 hours a day AT LEAST!

I don’t quite remember, but I am certain it was a scrapbooking blog. That is my other obsession!
