“Welcome To My Planet”

I am an aspiring writer, working on a book proposal currently, and blogging helps me practice and improve my writing skills daily.

Approximately 6 months ago.

Life, which for me is largely Motherhood. I do write about personal issues as well. Also, part of my life is dealing with Autism, so several of my posts address that issue.

Finslippy, Amalah, Dooce, Attack of the Redneck Mommy, The House that Osh Built

Um, nope. I’m a newbie myself. I NEED advice!!

If people left comments, I’d like to chat!

Nope.

Any time I can grab. Usually, after kids are in bed.

Writing blogs - about 3-5 hours/week. REading - far less.

Nope

A friend mentioned that she did it. I read hers, set up a blog, and loved it.

my friend’s blog called A Day In The Life.

Great writing, Inspirational people and books. Nature. God. My children and husband. Not necessarily in that order.

Nope

It helps me practice writing, which brings me great joy. It helps me express myself at a time where I feel limited due to my 24-7-12 mothering gig. I’m really more into getting published “in print” more than blogging… so the blogging is like a fun little side thing. Not really trying to “make it” more than it really is. Blogging CAN be very distracting, time consuming, and divert your attention from things that are more important if you let it. Its hard not to let it, for me at least, sometimes.
