I blog because I like to have a journal of my life. I enjoy being able to look back at things that we said or did. I don’t mind that other people read it, but I try very hard to write for me not other people. And I love being able to blog about private stuff and keep it private. 
I blog about my life in general. I’m not usually profound or funny or even interesting. But I write from my heart.
I always read Heather at Midlife Moments, but then she is my best friend. 
I have a huge Bloglines list- political blogs, homeschool blogs, parenting blogs. I don’t think I could narrow them down to just a few favorites.
Take it easy and write for yourself. Don’t write what you think other people want to read, because chances are they want to really read about you. And don’t get discouraged when you only have a few comments or none at all.
I do. I usually forget to post them as comments though and write back via email.
I love Technorati. I use their tag searches all the time. I’ve found quite a few of my daily reads via Technorati.
