“Stop and Smell the Chocolates”

I started blogging in April of 2008 after being inspired by a blog called Real Life.

I blog about a variety of things - family life, tea on Tuesdays, household tips, recipes, chocolate on Fridays, and occasional theme weeks.

My posts are mostly light and positive, with a serious one thrown in every so often.

Some of my family and a few offline friends read my blog. Most of them are lurkers (never leaving any comments).

I mainly blog at my laptop in the kitchen, usually at night though I’m trying to get it done earlier in the day!

Honestly - probably too much time. I am working on finding the balance between blogging and keeping up my household.

From my husband a few years ago and I laughed at the idea that people would want to read your miscellaneous thoughts. Now here I am!

I have another blog to counteract all the chocolate on this one - LOL! It’s called Stop Eating All The Chocolates and helps me on my journey to lose weight and be healthier.
