Interview with Amanda from “Mommy’s Idea Book”
“Mommy’s Idea Book”

I love sharing information and tips I’ve learned over the years by being a wife and mom. I also like being able to have contact with other moms around the world. It’s fun!

After about two months of planning and working with my husband on the design of my blog, I finally got it up and running the beginning of March 2009.

I generally blog about anything related to family, kids, cooking and managing a home. I also post a Biblical devotion each Sunday for encouragement.

I like a whole lot of blogs but here are my favorites that I read regularly:
Simple Mom
Small Notebook
Domestic Cents
Hearth Management
Living Locurto
Almost Frugal
Being Frugal
Make and Takes

Comment on many different blogs so people will know your out there. Get listed in blog directories. Blog about stuff you like, and most of all have fun!

Oh yes, I love comments and replying to comments. I love making new friends from all over the place.

I have a lot of friends and family members that read my blog regularly.

Occasionally, on Blissfully Domestic.

I blog almost every day at Mommy’s Idea Book

I spend about 3 – 4 hours a day.

Yes, I use Technorati.

My husband started our personal blog and introduced me to the possibility of doing my own mom blog. I thought it sounded exciting, so here I am.

The first blog I ever read was Simple Mom. I actually found it on Technorati.

Many things inspire me especially my kids, my family, books, and other moms.

I work a little on our personal family website, but that’s all. I’m not sure I have time for anything else right now.

I have been inspired to try new things by reading other blogs. I’ve also learned more about myself and discovered new things that I really enjoy.
