I first started blogging to keep our family and friends up-to-date on our lives. Then I found there is so much more to blogging than I thought. I found it almost therapeutic. So I use it as an avenue to capture memories and also vent about things happening in my life and to connect with other women. I have “met” some awesome people through blogging.

I started blogging in June of 2008.

Myself, my son, my husband. Sometimes just about random thoughts that run through my mind. I treat this as my online “diary.” It allows me to get anything off my mind that I may be thinking about.

Blog about anything and everything. I have loved looking back at some of my posts and remembering little things that I would normally have forgotten about by now.
Comment on other people’s blogs often.
Write only one post per day. It gets overwhelming when you visit someone’s blog that has 4 posts each day.

I love to chat with my visitors! I love reading each person’s blog and learning about their lives. I feel like I have gotten to know some of them really well just through reading about their kiddos, husbands and families through their blog.

Yes. One of the reasons I started this blog was to keep our family and friends up to date on our lives. We have many people all over the country that we like to keep in contact with. I thought this was one of the easiest ways to do so so I didn’t feel like I was sending out emails all the time. This gives them the chance to “check in” with us whenever is convient for them.

I blog any chance I get. Durings nap times, early morning and late at night. It’s “my” time to get away and vent!

Probably too much. I spend a couple hours per day. The weekends I usually don’t touch the computer since I spend that time with my family.

Through a Moms group at my church. The leader posts information on a blog for the group. She herself also has a personal blog. It was the first time I had really any exposure to blogging. After reading her blog for a few months, I decided to give it a try! I am so glad I did. I am now addicted!

God. My husband. My son. My parents. Other great moms out there in the blogosphere.

Blogging has impacted my life like I never thought it would. I discovered that I actually love to write. Even if it is little snippits of my life, I like to write about it.
I have been so encouraged by other moms out there that share their views on God, relationships, discipline, recipes, etc. There are some really great women (and men) out there that I can learn a lot from.
