Interview with Jamie Ussher from “Baby Get Green”
“Baby Get Green”

I have really enjoyed blogging, so I guess ultimately that’s why I do it! I love research and when I find something that is worth sharing, I get very excited about it. We strive to have peace and simplicity in our home, so that is what I tend to focus on through my blog – whether that is peace from being frugal, green or just plain simple in the way we live life!

We have had a family blog for a number of years now, but that is pretty much just for family that live overseas. I got set up with
Being a mom, living simply, being frugal, trying to be good to the environment…

Some of the blogs I try to read regularly…

and a few others.
I read my mom’s and brother’s regularly too –

I guess with Baby Get Green I am a newbie
. But, as far as our other blog and with Baby Get Green – you have to blog about something you enjoy or for a reason that will keep you going. I’ve just set how many times a week I’ll try to write and stick with that so I have deadlines.

I love comments! At the moment I’d love to have much more interaction then there is currently to know whether the information is helpful to other women or who has tried what, etc. Hopefully it will come in time!

Yes, we have family in Australia and they have e-mailed that they have been reading it as well as my sister here in the states.

Yes – I try to go between these three…

I mostly blog from home – our kitchen table
. I try to blog during naps or when our daughter is busy with stuff/keeping herself occupied.

Probably 3 times a week = about 5-6 hours total.

I think from my brother who set a family blog for my immediate family and spouses. We did this because we were far away from each other and wanted to stay connected.

Simple living! Other women who blog and are vulnerable. My husband and daughter and what they are willing to try out because it’s the latest passion of mine!

A Month of Meals which is really just a salescopy for a eBook on meal planning. I love planning meals and saving money doing it!
