I blog because I believe there is power in the written word. Martin Luther is quoted to say, “If you want to change the world, pick up your pen.” God gave me the gift to write, so I write.

Slices of life are my favorite topic to write about, but if the Holy Spirit convicts or compels me to share something, I do, trusting that He has a message someone else needs to hear.

I have many favorites, and that’s why the blog list on my sidebar is so long. It is amazing to me how diverse the gifts are in the Body of Christ, but how He uses them all for His glory.

Yes, I have had a devo ministry for several years before I began to blog, and many of them enjoy reading more frequent thoughts and stories on my blog.

I’m inspired by a quiet room, the sound of the ocean, a beautiful sunset or rainbow, a worship song which points completely to God, or a moving drama.
